Awareness + Movement + Nature
a gentle practice with a profound impact
connect to your body’s natural wisdom
Sessions with Jimena Paz facilitate a deep, non-verbal learning process for your brain and body. We work through gentle, guided movements to engage your central nervous system's neuroplasticity—its innate ability to change and reorganize. This process of neuromuscular re-education helps you gradually revise habits contributing to pain or limitation and explore movement that is functional, enjoyable, and in harmony with your whole self.

Feldenkrais® Functional Integration is a one-on-one, hands-on, individually tailored session.
You lie comfortably, fully clothed, on a low table. The practitioner uses gentle touch to create subtle movements.
This process gently talks to your nervous system, helping to update/change old, ingrained habits and movement patterns that might cause pain, limitation, or difficulty.
You learn new possibilities for self-organization and movement, leading to greater awareness and comfort.
Feldenkrais®Awareness Through Movement lessons are verbally guided group classes (often done lying on the floor, sitting, or standing) where the teacher/practitioner leads students through a sequence of gentle, exploratory movements.
The focus is on self-discovery and internal sensation rather than achieving a specific form.
By moving slowly, within a comfortable range, and paying close attention to how each part of the body is connected, your nervous system is prompted to recognize and discard habitual, effortful patterns in favor of more efficient and comfortable options.
The verbal instruction allows you to explore the movements yourself, developing your own awareness and kinesthetic sense.
